Informational and investigative purpose

VESPER investigates reported paranormal experiences and publishes educational material about history, methods, equipment, and evidence evaluation. Website content reflects research, observations, interpretations, and opinions available at the time of publication. It is not a representation that paranormal causation has been scientifically established.

No guaranteed result

VESPER cannot guarantee that it will accept a request, conduct an investigation, identify the cause of an experience, obtain evidence, or establish that activity is paranormal. A finding may remain explained, mixed, unresolved, or inconclusive.

Not an emergency or professional service

VESPER is not an emergency service, law-enforcement agency, medical or mental-health provider, legal adviser, electrician, structural inspector, environmental-testing company, or other licensed professional service. If anyone may be in immediate danger, call 911 or the appropriate emergency service. Safety, health, structural, electrical, environmental, animal, criminal, or legal concerns should be directed to a qualified professional or public authority.

Investigation requests

The person submitting a request must provide information honestly and must not claim authority over a property or recording that they do not have. A submission does not create a client, agency, confidential-professional, or contractual relationship and does not obligate VESPER to respond or investigate. Access, scheduling, conduct, recording, confidentiality, evidence handling, and any public use of case material may require separate written permission or agreement before an investigation.

Membership applications

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. An application does not guarantee an interview, conditional invitation, prospective membership, or full membership. A conditional invitation may require authorization for a public-record background screening and additional information needed to perform it accurately. VESPER may consider the relevance, context, accuracy, recency, and seriousness of information rather than treating every record as an automatic disqualification.

Acceptable use

Do not use the website to submit unlawful, threatening, knowingly false, defamatory, harassing, malicious, or infringing material; impersonate another person; interfere with the site; evade security controls; or submit sensitive information about another person without an appropriate reason and authority to do so.

Copyright and permitted use

Unless otherwise identified, original VESPER text, graphics, logos, downloads, and site design are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may link to public pages and quote brief portions for commentary or reference with clear attribution. Republishing, selling, modifying, or using substantial portions of VESPER material or branding without permission is prohibited.

External links and third-party services

Links to outside resources are provided for convenience and do not necessarily constitute endorsement. VESPER does not control third-party content, availability, security, or privacy practices.

Website availability and limitation

We may change, suspend, correct, or remove website content or features. Although we work to keep information accurate and the site secure, the website is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise of uninterrupted operation or complete accuracy. To the extent permitted by applicable law, VESPER is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on website content or inability to access the site. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
