VESPER is a Northeast Ohio paranormal investigation and research organization exploring reports of hauntings, unexplained activity, and other anomalous phenomena.
From historic locations and reported apparitions to unexplained voices, unusual environmental changes, and experiences that resist easy explanation, we approach every investigation with curiosity, respect, and an open mind.

A name rooted in twilight.
Vesper comes from the Latin vesper, meaning “evening,” and the word is also used for the evening star.
VESPER represents the twilight bridge between day and night—the hour when the light fades, shadows lengthen, and the familiar gives way to the unknown.

How We Approach the Unknown
Data in the Dark: Investigating the Unseen
Reports of strange voices, apparitions, unexplained movement, and other unusual activity are what draw many of us to paranormal investigation in the first place. VESPER approaches those experiences with an open mind and a genuine desire to understand them, while taking the time to determine what the evidence actually supports.
VESPER combines hands-on field investigation, historical research, environmental monitoring, documentation, and careful evidence review in an effort to better understand what may be occurring.
INVESTIGATE
Explore locations with reported hauntings, apparitions, unexplained sounds, movement, and other unusual activity.
DISCOVER
Dig into the history, people, stories, and events that may help us better understand a location and the experiences reported there.
ANALYZE
Review recordings, environmental data, photographs, video, and firsthand observations for anything that deserves a closer look.
Why We Investigate
The unknown still exists.
There are empty rooms where voices have been heard. Historic places where visitors repeatedly describe the same unexplained experience. Recordings that contain sounds no one remembers hearing. Moments when several witnesses look at one another and realize they all noticed the same thing.
Many mysteries eventually yield to explanation.
Some do not.
VESPER exists because we believe some experiences deserve a deeper look. We believe genuine paranormal phenomena are possible, and the cases that resist easy explanation are precisely the ones that keep us asking questions.
No matter how brightly we shine the light of reason into the unknown, there are always shadows beyond its reach—questions not yet answered, experiences not yet understood, and possibilities we cannot entirely rule out.

Whether it’s unexplained voices, footsteps, apparitions, objects moving, recurring activity, or something you simply can’t make sense of, VESPER is here to listen.
You don’t need to know whether what you’re experiencing is paranormal before contacting us. Tell us what’s been happening, and we’ll review the details with care and discretion.
Our first follow-up is by email. This gives us an opportunity to better understand the situation and determine the most appropriate next step, which may include a phone conversation or an investigation.
