For the past decade, Michael has been actively involved in paranormal research, investigating numerous battlefields, historic buildings, cemeteries, and unique locations. He has long been fascinated by both history and the unexplained—two interests that frequently intersect in the places and stories that capture his attention. His passion for historic sites, documented events, firsthand accounts, and unexplained phenomena has driven him to explore the complex relationship between what we know about the past and the mysteries that still remain.

Michael studied Natural Resources at Oregon State University, completing three years of undergraduate coursework toward a Bachelor of Science. This science-based education helped shape his analytical approach, which is centered on careful observation, precise documentation, critical analysis, and the objective evaluation of competing explanations. Today, these core scientific principles continue to anchor VESPER’s investigative philosophy.

Michael founded VESPER to build the kind of paranormal organization he felt was often missing: one that takes unusual experiences seriously without reducing them to entertainment. He wanted to distance his work from the sensationalism, manufactured drama, provocation-heavy tactics, and predetermined conclusions so often seen in paranormal television. Instead, VESPER is built on thoughtful investigation, deep historical context, honest evidence review, and a willingness to accept wherever the facts may lead. Just as importantly, Michael created VESPER to foster a community of like-minded individuals who genuinely enjoy the research, travel, and fieldwork involved in exploring the unknown, with the hope that strong teamwork will naturally evolve into lasting friendships.
